Sugarcreek Township Farmers’ Market Begins Friday, June 12, 2009

 

The collaborative efforts of many in this growing township will culminate in the first annual Farmers’ Market to take place this Friday, June 12, 2009 from 3-7 p.m.  The Farmers’ Market pays homage to this community’s farming heritage, promotes area farmers and producers and provides the community with convenient access to a variety of locally grown products.  The market is located at 4333 Feedwire Road in the PetSmart parking lot.  Easy access, ample parking, excellent visibility and a growing list of vendors characterize this market.  Some examples of what you might find at the Sugarcreek Township Farmers’ Market include certified organic fruit and vegetables, fresh fruits and vegetables, grass fed freezer beef, eggs, fresh baked breads, cookies and desserts, honey, soaps, and berries and jams.  Vendors slated to participate in this year’s market include Persinger Farms, Brickel Creek Organic Farm, Berryhill Farm, White Mountain Honey Farm, National Trail Family Farm, and the Little Lady Bakery.  The market will be held every Friday, June 12-October, from 3-7 p.m.  For more information or to become a vendor, contact us at (937) 848-8426.
