Stress Management 

Session II Tuesdays, 9/9/08-10/14/08 (Register by 9/5/08)

This class will take a comprehensive approach of looking at the mind, body, emotions, and spirit as equal parts of the whole person.  You’ll learn how stress occurs, how to manage it, and how to prevent it from damaging your health. Through lecture, discussion, and practice of coping skills and techniques, you will learn principles and strategies of managing stress for health and well-being in all aspects of your everyday life.  Instructor: Steve Chappell

Wellness Screenings 

Thursdays, 9/11/08, 10/9/08, 11/13/08, and 12/11/08

Come out on the second Thursday of each month to have your blood pressure and blood sugar checked for free.  The Wells Institute for Health Awareness will provide this community service.   No registration required.

Got Boundaries 

Saturday, 9/27/08 

Mary Bajus, RN is offering a 2 hour informational/learning session on the importance of self-care and how to use personal power to set boundaries that relate to self-esteem.  This seminar will help you find your strength and your voice.  Register by 9/25/08.

Beginning Sign Language 

Mondays, 9/29/08-10/27/08

This five-week class for all ages is designed for those with little to no sign language knowledge and is taught by a licensed educational interpretive signer. Students will learn the manual alphabet and basic conversational signs.  All ages welcome & encouraged. Bring paper and a writing utensil to class.  Instructor: Shelby Shipley.  Register by 9/23/08.
