Meditation is a time-honored technique of training the mind, body, and emotions to be calm, centered, and relaxed. This practice leads to improved physical health, emotional stability, mental clarity, and inner peace. You will learn basic techniques of meditation with primary focus on the breath. Gentle yoga stretches will be used to prepare for meditation. You will also learn how to integrate meditation into your daily life. NO CLASS 5/28 and 9/3.
Registration is required no later than the Friday before each 6 week session begins
Meditation Sessions: 5/7-6/18, 6/25-7/30, 8/6-9/17 (no class on 5/28 & 9/3)
Cost: Resident $60/session or $15 drop-in fee/Non-Resident $70/session or $17 drop-in fee
