River Exploration

| Adults  Family  Nature

Join the Chief Naturalist on a small exploration of the Little Miami River! This beautiful river is designated as a state and national scenic river. Take a short hike to the river’s edge and then wade in to explore the area while we look for fish, crawdads and fresh water mussels. Learn about some of the birds, amphibians and mammals that visit or live in the river and the importance of clean water stewardship. Wear water shoes and bring a plastic (No glass please) container and net for this catch and release program. Extra containers and nets will be available.

Pre-registration is required.  No walk ups please.
