Everyone is invited to join local astronomy enthusiasts on this autumn night for an evening of stargazing; there will be a lot to see as local astronomers share their telescopes to explore the wilderness above us! Saturn and our Moon will pass within 2 degrees of each other! Is there a risk of a celestial collision of epic proportions? Well, no because they are actually millions of miles apart, but this rare occurrence, known as a conjunction, shouldn’t be missed. Come to Washington Mill Park to discover the night sky. Feel free to bring your telescope or binoculars if you have them to learn more about the sky. This program will be cancelled during inclement weather/ cloudy skies.
