Program Coordinator, Heather Luby, just celebrated 4 years with the Park District! Prior to joining our staff in 2019, Heather was a fitness instructor and superstar park volunteer! She spent 10 years helping support our programs prior to joining our staff!

These days you will find her teaching TAPFit class, leading the Walk and Talk Book Club alongside library staff and bringing the best crafts to Little Explorers. You may also recognize her as the official mascot of Wobble Gobble!

Heather says her favorite thing about working at the Park District is the people and giving back to the community. Working with kids and people of all ages is something that has always brought her joy. Even though her son has graduated, she is looking forward to continuing to give back to the area that she raised her family in and we are looking forward to her continuing to help us bring the best programs to the area for many years to come!
