Remembrance Ridge at Magee Park: Official Dedication 

In 2020 the Park District was approached with an idea to create a special memorial space to honor the children who are no longer with us but always remembered and loved. Over the last few years that idea was turned into Remembrance Ridge at Magee Park. In September, Park District Executive Director, Jeff Stewart, joined the Remembrance Ridge Committee for the official dedication. Our Park District is honored to host the beautiful swinging bench at Magee Park as a place of reflection with stones paving the way to memorialize the children we have lost. Each stone is available for engraving and grants are available for those who need financial assistance in purchasing. A special thank you to Karen Long and all of the volunteers’ hard work in making this memorial a reality.
